Businesses wishing to sell liquor in the City of New Florence must obtain a liquor license from the City of New Florence, Montgomery County, and the State of Missouri, and have a valid City of New Florence Business License.
The City Clerk, in conjunction with the New Florence Police Department and the Community Development Code Enforcement Division, issues all City Liquor Licenses.

Completed applications can be dropped off at City Hall or mailed to the City Clerk at PO Box 70, New Florence, MO 63363. Emailed applications will not be accepted.

The City Clerk reviews the application for completeness. Upon approval, the liquor license application is placed on the agenda for the next available Board of Aldermen meeting.
Immediately upon Board approval, the application is transferred to the Code Administration Department to be printed. The city license can be picked up at City Hall or mailed after a copy of the state license has been submitted.
Once the license is received it must be posted in an area that can be viewed by all. A current license must be posted at all times.
